Welcome to the homepage of the Northbrook Speedskating Club, which has served Northbrook and surrounding north shore communities of Chicago since 1952.  Our mission is to teach the great sport of speedskating and promote its enjoyment from the novice to elite levels.  Speedskating is an excellent whole body workout and there are numerous short track (111 meter) and long track (400 meter) speedskating meets in our area for competition and recreation each year.

drop in on Tuesdays or Thursdays starting September 6
to meet our skaters and coaches and try speedskating without obligation
(demo speedskates are available)

Regular practices start September 6th, 2011 and run through mid-March, 2012
